A new gathering in Madrid welcomed community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to reflect on the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The round table included Clarisa Nieva of news eu vote the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers presented different experiences and viewpoints on how open dialogue can help build more inclusive communities.
Throughout the gathering, participants explored themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity is a value for society when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
